Seize the Moment!

"Don't wait for extraordinary opportunities. Seize common occasions and
make them great. Weak men wait for opportunities; great men make them."
~Orison Swett Marden

Here are a few pictures of my trip for those of you who are interested.
Now you have reached your goals and are about to enter the university. These will be some of the best years of your life, so don't forget to seize each moment and make them all great!

Hope to see you at Starbucks!

Hey Gina!

How is your new place? Does it feel like home?

You are most welcome for everything. It was a pleasure for me, really. It was a great class for me too. Believe me, not all classes are great.

You keep in touch too. Let me know how things are going with you.

Hi Khalid!

Sherbrooke is located in a beautiful area of Quebec. We like to go to a village called North Hatley. It's not very big, but the scenery is breathtaking. What did you visit? Universite de Sherbrooke has a good engineering program, but Concordia is better! Ha ha...you can benefit from learning in English and you have that nice new building to boot! How many classes are you planning on taking in the sping session?

I can understand your sense of accomplishment at the ceremony. Our ceremonies are very nice at CELI; I know our students really appreciate them. I like how they are so personal. In other ESL programs in a university setting, the students just join in the big convocation ceremonies and well...with 1000 other graduates it becomes very impersonal.

I wish I could have been at the ceremony; however my conference had been planned for over a year and well...one has to take advantage of opportunities they are given in life! If you or anyone else has some pictures to forward me, I would appreciate it.

Congratulations again, you worked really hard and demonstrated great leadership qualities in the class.

Come back and visit!

Hey Ramy!

I miss you too! I have nobody to give me a hard time these days....geez!What am I going to do without you? LOL

How are you enjoying your time off? The sun does the mind, body and soul good, but it is still pretty cold in the morning. Although every morning I see more and more varieties of birds around here, so spring is here (even if we still get one more snowstorm....).

Take care of yourself and hopefully I'll see you around.
