Welcome to blogging! Before you scream, "Not another project, " read on to find out the benefits of blogging. Blogging is a writing/response activity which aims to get students to become more regular readers of current events and to provide a forum in which you can share your writing with a greater audience beyond the teacher as the "evaluator!" You will post your own writing, read each other's writing and respond to their blogs as part of class work.
Try choosing different members of the class as much as possible for each blog assignment.
For your first assignment, you will write a response (1-2 paragraphs) to one of the following questions and then respond to two blogs written by classmates.
1. Do you believe the teacher should be the only evaluator of your writing? How can students benefit from sharing their writing with their peers? Comment on an experience you've had sharing your writing with your peers. Was it valuable?

Actually, I have never shared my writing even with my buddies. However, if I do that, I think it should be useful for relationship among all classmates and it makes us being together closely.
I think a blogg can be helpful for us on the way to improve our personal opinions in public discussions. Reacting spontaneously to classmate's opinions makes strong our beliefs
Hi Sherry.Well, the opinion of other people such as the other students in class, is better than only having one opinion and evalutation.
Sharing our writings and ideas with other students is very good so whe can get other opinions wich can help you improve your work.For me, sharing ideas with a peer always helps me get better.Sometimes I get to make some grammar mistake or miss some idea or be a little confusing and a peer always helps me correcting these things.That`s it.bye!
Blogging is not my behaviour. I'm not interesting at it.The reason is not I don't like sharing my composition, I'm just not blogging person. I'm not always do it. After this course, I hope I can find fun in it.
I think in class, teacher is not my only evolotor, I hope more people can enjoy my blogging and give me a comment. It is good for language learning.

honestly, i hate to create my blog, although i would like to read others blog. but it is a good try, isn't it?
instead, i like to read something interesting, and the blog is a good place to set up my opinions of the articles or books. thanks for what u did for us. thanks for introduce blogs for us. and thanks for the interesting articles and books.
The students have to seek the opportunity to share ideas with their class-mates and this is an essential way of learning.For example in my previous levels of education in highschool or college i used to share ideas with my colleges to abstract a knowledge about their writting and give my opinion. Finally the teacher will evaluate the work and will give us a feedback.
Hi sherry! I think communit with others by blogging is very good and now i will give you my comments about your questions.
First, I think the teacher should be the only evaluatoer for my writing. Because teachers know everything about how to evaluate students' writing. Also teachers know well about their own students, they know how to help them.
Second, the benefits about students sharing their writing is very helpful for them. During they sharing their writing they may learn something they can not learn from teachers.
Anyway this is my firt blog, I do not know wether it is good or not. Also i am glad to know your suggestion about how to do it well.

Hi Sherry. About the question I should say that, although I was against this opinion, lately I fill that by sharing our writings with others specially classmates we can benefit from them and maybe correct each others writing. But in the same time I think that the most important and helpful comments going to be from the teachers. Off course you do have the knowledge more that others.
Actually my first experience of sharing the writing was with my TOEFL classmate, who by the way is my BF now, so it helped me a lot to try to write better. If you now what I am saying.;)

Adding to teacher's effect to evolve our writing, students also have their role i this evaluation. The pressure that comes from one side -i mean teacher- could be a bad idea to evolve students' writing, because the fact of self-esteem plays a measure role in our writing's evolution. Moreover, self-esteem may be the most important fact that could lead to an improvement in writing.
The correlation between two peers who have same level of learning is strong enough that can make those peers learn many things and share many ideas about their writing. This co-operative way is still the best method of learning , because it has a good methodoligical advances, which improve students' style of writing. A good example that can prove that is the example of a small experience that happened to me when i was learning how to organize my french writing. We worked in peers, and each one had the writing of other one. This experience made me personaly happy because i learned many things from it, such as: new style of writing, how to organize my idea, and new vocabulary.

Actually, I almost never write a blogger or give some comments even I have one, because I think I am not a good writer. However, I think this is a really good idea having a blogging in our class to study English and exchange our personal opinions. For me that is a nice opportunity that to communicate with others and teacher. I will enjoy it and have funny.
hey sherry ....i m sorry bc i m late but as u know i met a problem in my mail. I just fixed 2 minutes ago.I think the teacher should be the only evaluater of my writing .This does t mean that i don t need students 'opinion ,sometime i find it very useful.I think blooging will be intersting at least for me bc i consider it as entertainment stuff.
